Kingsbarn Acquires TA Express Travel Center in Shepherd, Texas

The Newly Constructed Facility is 100% Leased to LV Petroleum


Houston, Texas—March 5, 2025— Kingsbarn Realty Capital (“Company” or “Kingsbarn”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of a recently renovated TA Express Travel Center (the “Property”) located at 10100 US-59 (I-69), Shepherd, Texas. The Property features a convenience store, International House of Pancakes (IHOP), Taco Bar, trucker lounge, showers, and a laundromat, with 120 overnight truck parking spaces and multiple fueling positions.


Just an hour outside Houston, the Property spans approximately 15,863 rentable square feet and is conveniently situated along I-69, which sees about 32,944 vehicles per day. I-69, nicknamed the “Superhighway”, is part of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) corridor, which aids trade between Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. This ideal location makes it a crucial stop for TA fleet drivers, who can only use their company "fleet" credit cards at TA locations to pay for fuel.

The Property will be offered to investors through a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) structure, providing a simplified 1031 exchange solution. This allows accredited investors to own a fractional interest in this high-quality, professionally managed property, thereby enjoying the benefits of real estate ownership without the day-to-day management responsibilities. As the sponsor, Kingsbarn, handles all leasing, property management, and asset management decisions, ensuring a seamless investment experience.
